I need to replace the perished rubber seals on the 2 glass windscreen panels and the 2 triangular perspex sides to the windscreen. I've looked at Sealsdirect but can't decide which are the correct ones. I didn't want to take out the windscreens until I had the new rubbers ready.
Can anyone help with the right numbers.
Also the seals for the glass have been fitted with the filler gap on the inside (there is actually no filler strip) and the perspex panels fitted with the filler strip on the outside! Is this normal?
I know there are lots of posts here about replacing window seals but nobody seems to say what number seals they have used.

Hi Ray47
I used WR68 on all the windows on our 23 "Mora" and I have had no leaks since. it was great fun to fit as it was cold and wet at the time and it took 2 people (both of us had a day off work the next day as our fingers would not work for 24 hours) but on a hot day the rubber should be much more flexible but it will make you sweat!

the strip that expands the seal should always go on the outside and always remember to cut the seal longer as it will shrink back when cold.

this link is a goldmine of info and should be read before starting the work.

best of luck Sonny

Hi Sonny, thanks for your reply. I have the advantage that I only live a mile from the marina so I plan to remove the whole windscreen and bring it home to work on in the relative comfort of my garage and also the other boat owners won't hear the expected cursing and swearing

Hi Sonny, Just looked at that link you posted, as you said a mine of information. Don't know how I missed that first time round. A very useful link. Thanks again.
