Good luck, hoping to finally get mine relaunched Sunday (today!) after two years and 19 days refitting it. My farmer friend has worked out an interesting route around the soggy fields to reach the river so it will be interesting.

Well, at least we've seen a bit of sunshine in the last couple of days. It's still ****ing freezing but there is a glimmer of hope.

Hope both your launches go well. When we've recovered from the shock to our wallets I might tell you the tale of our engine....

Gladys-May re-launched 3pm Saturday. I rechecked dates, it was 2 years and 26 days since taking it off the canal near Worksop. Stayed on board Saturday night and went for a half mile jaunt down river Sunday just to check all worked ok, (it did). Will post a few pictures soon.

Good news on the re-launch am hoping next week now may be a bit safer to tow, I stay along way from the canal,so I dont want to jacknife the trailer with my shiney re-furb on any untreated roads
