Hi
The headroom in a 23 is about 5ft 8 inch I am 6ft I inch I have enjoyed this boat for 4 years but looking for a new boat you are more than welcome to try mine it is moored on the Thames near Wallingford. I am sure that someone in your area will help.

Hi TDHillery

I am in St Neots in Cambridgeshire on the great Ouse and have a Norman 23, I am 6 ft 1 in and have to crouch slightly but the boat is very comfy and if you want to take the tour and are down this way you are welcome to contact me on this forum. I am here most evenings and weekends.

I'm 6'6 so headroom is still a pain for me in our 22 but I manage !!!

Cooking is interesting when I'm on my own or when I have exhausted Chez on one of our manic missions but apart from that fine for the sitting down in the evening jobbies !

Compared to the Conquest we briefly owned as a 2nd boat & my mates 20 - I cant sit in either without my head hitting the roof !!!

Think Dads 23 (Later Atlanta shape) had slightly less headroom than our 22 as the floor was flat rather than ther earlier 'follow the hull' profile.

Sleeping four or even 5 (Using cockpit berth) is possible but err 'friendly' Gets interesting if you need to use the heads

Adi

Sewer Tubes ? I'd rather have a D**ncr*ft (Only Kidding)
