Hi, I'm re-fixing the strake around the boat where it has come away, I was going to re-fix it with screws placed behind the rope inlay, once I have screwed it back into place how would I then re-fix the rope inlay, would it be glued back into place or is it just held in place by the tension of it around the boat and then both ends fixed.

Thanks Les

I screwed mine back with stainless Tappers then replaced my rope inlay with the tightest fitting rope then a bead of the strongest waterproof grab adhesive I could find. Been good for three seasons now.
