My Shetland Black Prince has a large bulkhead at the bow under the v berth and currently has a 120ltr plastimo triangular shaped flexible water tank. This has gone brittle and has a small leak. The tank is lost under there as there is enough room for a much larger tank. My problems is that the bulk head is accessed by three small inspection hatches covered by locker covers. I can just about squeeze my head and shoulder through one of these and just about fitted the plastimo tank back through after cleaning it.
I can't cut a large hole at the top of the bulkhead as it is structural and covered in gel coat.
Does anyone know of any solution I could use to obtain a decent sized tank under there? Are there any good flexible tanks out there or are there ways a stainless steel tank could be fabricated in sections?
As ever your help is appreciated
Regards
Billy

But would you want to drink from a cak tank? I can't remember the proper name but google hcl or hovercraft laboratories as thats who did our polyurethane tank liner, they also do a mesh sock with precious metal impregnated beads that keeps the water sweet without the need for aquatabs, and it works well.
