I have the opportunity to have my Norman 23 craned out for the winter. This will help with some of the jobs I want to do on it. It will be into a field near Lechlade
I have had the following from the Boat Club:
You must supply all your own chocks and props
You will need some sleeper type blocks at, at least 2 points under the keel. They need to raise the boat about 24 inches from the ground. You will then need Acrow type props, 2 each side to stop it falling over. It's also useful to have some smaller blocks and pieces of wood to use for packing as the ground is a bit uneven. It's better to have too much than not enough.
The other option with a boat your size is to put it on drums. You put one drum on each side of the stern and one under the keel near the front. You will still need props to stop it falling over. If you use this method you will need some wood, 3/4 ply or similar under each barrel to stop it sinking into the ground and something on top of the barrel so's not to damage the hull.
Most people who use drums put an old tyre on top for the boat to sit on. This seems to work well or use wood and wedges.(we don't allow drums for boats over 25ft).
Does anyone have any advice on supporting a boat on land? Apparently the field is prone to flooding, so the boat needs to be well off the ground. I had wondered about two piles of pallets to support the keel, with Acrow props on either side. Is there anyone in the South-Glos / Wilts Area who might have some short Acrow Props for Hire/Sale?

I wouldn't think pallets would be strong enough. Better to be over engineered than under.
Railway sleepers sound good. The more points on the keel you support, the better. Think about keeping the boat straight, not letting it sag.
Check your insurance too.

Still progressing with this, obtaining timber, sleepers etc. I have found a source of short "Acrow Props", but there are lots of different lengths, and I am not sure how long I need. As I don't have access to my boat, would anyone know the dimension shown below?

Last April I posted here about the Freshwater Mussels I found under my boat when it was lifted last Winter, if you search for "Mussels" you can see this post which has photos of the underside of my N22 (very similar to your 23). You will get some idea of dimension as well as be able to see how my boat was supported (Oil drums and sleepers).

I suspect your down at The Trout, if its any help I have my boat (20foot Conquest) out of the water at Inglesham (2 mile up stream of Lechlade) not much difference in the hull profile if you want to come over and take a look this Sunday drop me an e-mail.

Ken, Thanks for the offer of a look at your boat. Sorry I didn't reply, but I've been away, and have only just seen your post. I think I'm OK thanks. Trench Props coming tomorrow, and taking lots of timber to the field in Friday, for the big day on the 20th.
