So following on from Dave C's incredibly inspirational thread, I thought I'd add a quick before / after.

Basically, if it hadn't been for Dave's pics of what was possible, I wouldn't have attempted it. My woodwork may still be a long way from what others have achieved, but I'm lacking any power at the boat, so all sanding has to be done by hand. But that aside, I'm really pleased with how things are coming along.
That's a stunning job, very clean and looks new. I see you decided to keep the wood look on the bulk head, worth doing and you got a good result.
I think having no power and doing it all by hand makes you appreciate the work a little more. Bit then again you would use it if it was there I guess.
Are you going to post all your changes? Would love to see the results. BTW, Thanks for the kind words. Keeping the blog defiantly keeps you working hard down the yard. Problem now is the season starts and I just want to cruise around...... but in style.
