Hi we are trying to find a supplier of a windshield for our callumcraft 22. We've found one on the net but it seems a little expensive and then they want £150 carrige fee. Were in the nottingham area so any ideas would appreciated. Ruth |

Can you not drive over and pick it up, it's less than £150 for the petrol?

A little Expensive !!!!
I should say so !
The Callum Screen is the same as the Norman 22 I think.
Our 22 was bought (9yrs ago) & came with a spare screen which I fitted last yr (Not the easiest job but ok with 3 pairs of hands to hold whilst fixing)
The original owner had 2 cut with a local company & If I recall the spare had the bend in it when we bought the boat.
8 years later - it was flat ! , but bent into the ally profile trim easily. New seal at the bottom was fitted & it all bolted into place with a little grunt!
We did snap two of the 4 mounts on the first attempt (40yr old monkey metal ! - A local engineer machined me new ones for £20)
I'm not sure but I think the 2x screens cost the guy we bought the boat off around £60 , even with mass inflation £325 is ridiculous!
If you have the original then use as a template & get a new one cut. If you require new mounts I may be able to get some made

hi Adi Can I ask where you got the seal for the bottom of the screen from as we have looked through the seals direct catalog but nothing seems to match the profile. |

Thanks Adi good to hear from someone who's actually fitted one, definatly going to try it not paying that sort of money out, will go take a template tomorrow and find someone local to cut it, will let you know how we get on. Ruth |

Sonny - Seal was from our yard , they normally stock it & its not expensive (Don't know where they get it from !)
They do sell stuff via internet - may be worth a call , LR Harris - 0116 269 2135
Just mention the bottom seal for a Norman 22 screen , should be able to help
Not checked seals direct - for the amount needed we just bought it from the yard (Plus they gave invaluable help in fitting !)
