Sorry you feel that way but you do have a choice to not read his blogg. You have the ability to not click on the link. I am sure many on here appreciate Neils project, saving a old boat from becoming a scrap pile on a tight budget. I greatly admire how succesfull he has been in reaching his goals.
Don't take life too serious, it's not permanent |

Well done Neil!!!!
I didn't think you would pull that one off, but you proved me wrong.
I'm already looking forward to the maiden voyage post.
I love the blog. The style and content is unique, your attitude to life is like a ray of sun light on a cloudy day. Keep it up!!

And the Olimpic Gold medal for blagging goes to....Neil Watson! Talk about make your own luck absolutely brilliant. I admit to being somewhat envious, but more so pleased for you as a reward for the blog, the entertainment value given and just having the sheer brass neck to do it. Fantastic result both for you and Suzuki.

Thanks to all for your comments. They are all received with grateful thanks. All of this boating, and blogging, mullarkey is new to me, and I don't want to bore or offend anyone from this site, or anywhere else for that matter.
There's one thing I do know - this is the site of the Norman Boat Appreciation Society - and I can say hand-on-heart that I really do APPRECIATE the lovely old boat that I was kindly given by a friend's dad a couple of years ago.
I am hoping to return the boat to its former glory so that it can be APPRECIATED for many more years to come - and I'm going to try to do this any way I can - and if that's through blogging and blagging, then I make no apologies for that.

Same as above. I have only had my Norman for less than a year but have really enjoyed blogging and reading everyone stories. I'm defiantly not board with it all.
So Neil, when do you strike the deal for all forum members to get our free Suzuki engines?

Thanks. I'm finally able to get back to do some working on the boat, thank goodness. But it's all a bit of a mess, and - as usual - I don't really know what I'm doing. The pic says it all - www.aboatformypotplants.blogspot.com
