There are a number of chaps over on the Freeman site that swear by Polyglow. But that is a coating and it needs to be re-applied every year or so.

As I understand it, Polytrol is similar and it may well produce good results when first applied, but when it starts rubbing off and wearing thin it can look worse then before you started.
But don't take my word as gospel.

You can't beat 3 days with a polishing machine and some G3!!
