I'm in the process of acquiring a Norman 27 which has unfortunately lost one of its hinged windscreen side windows. As I'm quite handy from a DIY point of view, I would be well able to make a replacement if someone could suggest a UK source of suitable aluminium channel.
Thanks for such a prompt response. I'll take a trip to the local B&Q depot and I'm sure I'll be able to find something suitable, even if I have to make up replacements for both sides (so they match). My water and I and looking forward to our first excursion!
I've had a look at the attached link and your Freeman looks superb - have you owned her long and how much work have you done on her? I have absolutely no intention on braving the open seas (not wise in a Norman 27 with an outboard) although many years ago when I and my wife were even more foolish than we are now, we hired a 10 foot dingy and set out from Paxos with the intention of sailing to Antipaxos. Not surprisingly, we never got there as sense prevailed and we turned around halfway - the crass stupidity of youth!
