This takes place this coming Thursday and friday. According to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight website, there will be no Lancaster this time but a Dakota and two Spitfires. Visiting both days around 3pm in the afternoon. They take off from Coningsby then to Marham on Thursday and Norwich on Friday so are likely to fly over the southern waters at least. So, if like me, you are lucky enough to be bobbing about on the Broads, keep an ear out for those Merlin engines! Just conjure up a mental picture of "Leo Magill" in the air and you'll have an idea!

I shall be on the beach tomorrow in the rain and wind with my wife and two friends and am looking forward to the show,we went last year and or though it rained all day it was magic,just a shame the Vulcan wont be there this year that was magnificant! only down side is its a long way from st neots so we shall be driving instead of boating.
still there is always next year.

Was up in Lowestoft a few back, more by chance we timed it with the airshow and was a great show sat on the sea front wall all afternoon, especially the air sea rescue displays  |

| we have just this year bought a norman 20 called HILO and it is moored in little paxton just below the lock.the boat is in need of some more work but it floats and moves so that is a start and we love it,give us a wave when passing |

We saw most of the Red Arrows and various odd planes from Oulton Broad. The. Saw most of the power boat racing. All for £7 mooring! Bargin!!!

the weather was not too bad at Lowestoft on Thursday but there was alot of cancellations no Battle of Britan fly past and the Tornado flypast was off as well,still the rest of the show was magic and topped off by the Red Arrows, made me proud to be English I just hope the weather was better on Friday as this is a very good airshow concidering it is all free and paid for by donations.

| i lived up near R.A.F coningsby some years back, loved hearing the roar of the lancaster in the air. i was lucky to get inside the lanc courtesy of one of the electricians on the battle of britain memorial flight, who played in the same football team as me. |
