After our trip to Stratford a while back and coming home it poured with rain all day. I just usually wear trainers on the boat and had been fine up to then but the number of times i nearly fell on my fat arse that afternoon was a bit unnerving so i thought i would invest in some shoes with a bit more grip.
After scouring sites and seeing shoes like Dubarry and Seabago at a great cost i plumped for some cheaper ones that had good reviews and thought i would put a link up.
Super grip even when the deck is soaking wet and all leather uppers and very comfy and at least a quarter of the price of top brand shoes. Well recommended

I find it safer to send the crew out on deck and remain firmly in the captain`s seat.

I got a pair of them a while back. Mine were worn once, navy surplus. If they are good enough for the Royal Navy, they are good enough for me!

Unlike many budget deck shoes the insole is leather AND goes all the way to the front of the shoe. A truly top quality deck shoe. Oh, and another thing, they have real laces, not those stupid square leather things that always come undone!!
