Well tonight I'm lying under the boat doing a bit of filling with Hempel epoxy filler. That stuff is seriously tacky and stiff to work with. Anyway, I have a makeshidft pillow (rags stuffed into a plastic bag) for working underneath the boat, Hempel is getting everywhere. After about 10 minutes I realise I'm sticking to the pillow. Upon inspection there are two big globs of Hempel on the pillow and about half the hair on the back of my head is matted with the stuff.
I've tried everything including ignoring all health and safety advice. But after a shower and much pulling and sticking, it's at least under control. My hair will take a few days to free up after the hempel cures and falls off (I hope).
Lesson learned. Work tidy! Tidy work! But in fairness, with Hempel, tidiness is impossible.
