Mark has sent me these pictures asking what I think the boat is. It has lots of looks of a Norman Conquest. Thoughts??

I'm ashamed at you lot! Fancy not getting this easy one.

It's a Europa 4 from the very early 1970s - nice little boat.

No idea what it is, but pretty sure what it is not. Is Fred about? He might have an idea.

Not a fantasy - the deck has no fore-and-aft camber that was an (ugly?) design feature of Fantasy's.

Not a Norman either, I did wonder if it was an early CB model but it has no tumblehome, and the entry is too blunt and the hull too slab-sided for any of the other popular models.

My guess is that is is a DIY fit-out of a hull and superstructure, those ugly front windows, plus none of the windows open and all are set in rubber.

The topsides moulding design is pretty distinctive with that deep downturn to the gunwale. But although it is familiar I just cannot dredge up the maker!

Finally living the dream!

I think it's a fantasy.
