I won't take offence if you remove this Trev....
We recently lost our good friend, he was a stupid furry idiot but he was our stupid furry idiot, he was 14 year old and had an enlarged heart (general heart failure) and as the weather warmed up it got he better of him so....
Just before we lost him I had just ordered up the next batch of drugs for him, fairly expensive drugs at that, so if anyone has an older dog that uses vetmedin 5mg I have 91 capsules going free, if I give them to the vet they will be disposed of (probably incinerated) due to the lack of traceability, they cost me £35 so I'd rather see them go to a dog that needs them.
As they are a prescription only medication I will want to see a recent prescription or a recent invoice for the same before I hand them over to anyone, they are in date.
I someone wants to buy me a beer or put something in a lifeboat box I wouldn't object but they are basically free to a good home with a stupid furry idiot, I would rather cover the postage myself than see them burnt.
Otherwise I will have to take them up the local school gate at lunchtime and sell them for a fiver each.....
(it's a joke! I recon I could get a tenner for them from the right schoolkids)

There will be another come september when the last of the years holidays are out of the way and it will be another rescue dog, not fair to take a dog on before then and either palm it off on the dog sitter or expect it to put up with long boat trips straight away (but it will have to get used to that bit) as we have 2x 2 week outings planned.
Till then I am banned from looking at dog rescue websites or I'd have another by now, I need the exercise......

My thoughts are with you as many of us as gone through the same.
I hope you don,t mind me saying this. If you decide in the future to get another please try Many Tears. They re-home 2500 per year

Nay Dave, not a chance. Easy to say but I know about such a loss. All the best to yourself and Ali.
