Hi
Hope this isn't a daft question, does anyone know the total length of a Norman 20 including an outboard?

I see the quoted LOA of 20' 3" but presume this doesn't include the engine?

The reason I ask is I enquired about an available mooring advertised for a 20' boat and was told the mooring is suitable for max 20' 6"

Thanks

Thanks DF, I want a mooring in the North though.

There may be space for your size where I moor at thorpe marina (wroxham marine but nowhere near wroxham), give them a call, they are on the river yare by the A47 bridge, other end of the broads but fairly cheap.

I didn't find out, the mooring is @ South Walsham on the broads, I think its alongside.

I doubt many people can moor a boat in a space only 6" longer than the boat itself, is it alongside or a finger mooring?
Where abouts is the mooring in question?

Thanks David, reckon I am going to need about 23ft in total, allowing for the outboard and pulpit rail though.

My Norman 20 has an inboard but the rudder sticks out quite far at the back - I'm charged at my mooring for 21ft

I asked the questions about the mooring advertised as suitable for 20 ft boat and the response was that it was maximum 20' 6"

I am about 220 miles from the mooring

Are you close enough to be able to "visit" the mooring in your boat to make a personal enquiry?? You could simply try it then decide!
Also, its unlikely that the mooring advertised is exactly 20'6", I reckon its worth also asking if a 20' boat with an outboard would fit.
But the visit option would be my favourite!
