Posted - 17 Oct 2018 : 12:48:01 A Norman Conquest has come up for sale on the FaceBook group "NORMAN BOAT OWNERS". It's not mine, don't know the owner or anything, just thought I'd mention it here. The owner is asking £2400. For more info and contact details, you'll have to join the FB group.

Posted - 28 Oct 2018 : 09:57:24 Being "isolated" in Thailand these days it is nice to share stuff about boats, not "gin palaces" but "ordinary" boats that would fit into Ratty's comment that "there is nothing so good as messing about in boats". I found that your old forum mates The Dawncraft people have also migrated to a Facebook Group, both are quite active groups too.

Posted - 18 Oct 2018 : 14:06:07 They do know about us Clive. They have been using a lot of our info linked to posts on there. That's how I "discovered" them! |

Posted - 17 Oct 2018 : 23:39:28 When I was "reviving" this site I was in touch with Fuzzy and offered to host the old Dawncraft site here and enable other owners to add to it. Really to provide a resource other than faceache which a lot of folk avoid like the plague. He did seem keen but nothing came of it sadly. |

Posted - 17 Oct 2018 : 17:26:35 Thanks for that Tom, I didn't know there was such a Facebook Club - I've joined and swamped them with pics haha.
There is also a Dawncraft Club so I've applied to join that. There used to be a Dawncraft Owners Club but not on Facebook, this club started in 2011 about the time the other one vanished with no warning. I was technicaL advisor on that one! Big name - no money haha.
