Does anyone know anything about the bridgewater canal. It seems you need a bwc licence as well as crt . I can't seem to find anything on Internet only that if you want to cruise for a week it's 40 quid how much is it for a year ? At that rate it would make a hole in your bank balance all right. It all seems so hush hush wink wink nod nod.

Does appear to be in a world of its own but I can't see anywhere saying that you must also be CRT licenced. Waterside Mooring, which is CRT's moorings arm makes not mention of the Bridgewater at all. I suspect if you were able to stick to the 39 miles of the Bridgewater, you would be subject to their fees only.
