That time of year again and going up to Ripon from SYBC for a 2 week jaunt Sat morning. 6 boats are going up to Selby via the canal till Mon then we go out on the Ouze to York. Same as we normally do we will overnight in Naburn , bypass York (too many tourists ) and overnight at Linton Lock. Then 3 days Borough Bridge followed by 3 nights Ripon in the basin. Back to B-Bridge for 3 more nights. You might have guessed it's my favourite on this river, then York,Selby home. Lincoln and Chesterfield Canal in May, Hebden Bridge in July. Probably Ripon again in Sept. happy days.

Didn't happen Dave. Weather forecast was crap. The flood locks were closed on the river Aire so no go till next week. One advantage of retirement. As for Goole to Selby tidal i will do it when i really really want a divorce.lol.

You don't fancy going out at goole and taking the flood all the way to naburn then?
Have a nice run.
