It's either on TMD41's or the HP is massaged up a bit, looks to be a nice boat for the money but I'll bet there's a reserve a good deal higher.

Never again I hope, my back hurts, my front hurts, my sides hurt, my bottom hurts, my top hurts.
The rest is fine.

You'll regret it if you don't! Nothing surer than that! You are not going to be taking those lumps out too often methinks!

Quick clean up, flush heat exchangers, sort minor raw water leak on one of the oil coolers, give them a good service and re-fit ready for the next season.
Going to fit take offs for a cockpit heater to the port engine (starbord does the calorifier), heater is a homebrew job from an escort heater matrix and a bilge blower fan, may as well have some free heat.
Just got to get them into my garage now.

Edit: Job done now sat in the garage, also thinking of dropping the sumps off and cleaning out any sludge that built up over 30 odd years but the gaskets are £50 a go for pattern parts.

What's the plan for the engines then dave?
df Posted - 21 Oct 2017 : 00:24:40
Got this far, no problems getting them out but getting them into the van was a git.

First glance that looked like lego!

That should just about do it, according to the book they are 455kgs each including gearbox but doesn't specify if that is dry/wet weight, 2 of them will make the guvnors van sweat but should be within limits.

Here is a crane i used at Port Talbot in Wales to build the new blast furnace in 2012.
It lifts about 500 tons 300 feet in the air. For scale the low loader at the back has a police escort on the road. Should manage your engines if it gets up close..

She's still at thorpe, not coming out going to do it in the water, rather than try and manouver 1/2ton of engine in a confined space with a crane I can manouver the boat around the engine on loose ropes, got to be safer.

Princess 30DS but you can't have it so ner!
That said I'm lifting the engines and fuel tanks out this coming weekend so if you catch me at the right time (the language will give it away) it may be free to a good home, there WILL be swearing involved.....
At some point I will have to put them back in again when the chances of a free giveaway will be even greater.
Once back up and running you can F.R.O.

Sorry Phil I appear to have hijacked your thread.
