The channels for my sliding windows have an excellent crop of moss growing! Cleaning this out is easy enough with cotton buds but does anyone use anything to try and prevent growth? Short of painting them with paraquat? Does anyone lubricate the slides??

Patio magic works on canvas canopies so may be worth squiring a drop into your runners.
