need help my bilge keeps filling with water and i have to pump it out every day. this problem has just started and the boat has been moored for months without moving so it's not been grounded in anyway. Any ideas ?? |

Does it get worse if it rains??? Seriously, most GRP cruisers leak way more from above than below.
What engine do you have??? Inboard/shaft/leg/outboard?
Work through it systematically.... how many holes do you have in the hull??? Toilet, engine water, prop shaft, sink drain?????
Inspect them all methodically..... if it's not one of them, it has to be canopy or windows.
I had a boat that one side of the bilge would fill up if it was moored one way round on the onto on, but not the other..... turned out the prevailing wind could blow rain along the canopy sides and under the flap where the sides joined the rear sloping roof of the canopy. It didn't do it when the boat was moored the other way round as it blew it off the boat. It wasn't until I went to the boat in the winter and it was snowing that I eventually saw what was happening as there was a little snow drift on the back seat....
