Hi all
Dug out the ultraflex B89 single control unit from the depths of the garage today with a view to fitting to my 23. However it is very stiff and the clutch/gear lever won't move at all.
Manage to prise it apart. The grease has turned into a thick sticky treacle so it will need to be cleaned out. Nothing appears to be broken. Is there a special grease for these or will ordinary LM grease do?
have Googled but no info only new ones at great expense.

Paddy

On my control unit and steering cable ends and linkages I used the below grease.
