Oh Dear

What can I say - Been absent from here for a long time.......

For those who know us, I'm not talking about Chez

The old tub has been out of the water for nigh on 18 months.During this period she's taken on a lot of rain water (many reasons)

Hull paint was completed last yr (But I forgot to remove the masking tape)

So first question - Any tips on removal or should I sand & repaint that area ?

Next Job - Windows - Dont fancy the job but need to replace the old seals on the rubbers, been quoted horrendous figures, seem to recall folks around Sawley using a local company - Anyone around Leics Derby or Notts that anyone can recommend? (Any budget prices that folks have paid would be appreciative)

Missing the old girl now & need to get her refloated.

Adi

Sewer Tubes ? I'd rather have a D**ncr*ft (Only Kidding)

Like Trev, I seem to recall something like the RAC mobile fitting service re-doing a few boat windows. A few years ago now though.

Window Seals. I have used Seals Direct. And then I used C O H Baines.01892 543311. Baines has a bigger selection and I found them a lot cheaper.

When we did Mora s windows we bought seals from seals direct on the net and took our time doing one at a time, it was not complicated bht just a little time co
nsuming and they didn't leak afterwards#128512;

A few times I have read that folk have used those that refurbish industrial "plant" windows at a much more reasonable cost. In fact if I had the patience to do a search on this very forum there may well be something! RAC auto glass plant division was mentioned.
