Hi there.

Is anybody familiar with or able to give me any information please about the Fish and Duck Marina at Little Thetford, near Ely, with regard to moorings and facilities etc.

I thank you in anticipation.

Kind regards.

Pete

I've regularly been past it, but never stopped. Some friends have used it as short term moorings for a few weeks in the summer. They appear quite flexible. I'm fairly sure they are not full.

It was re-furbished a few years ago. Lots (all) of the liveaboards were thrown out.

It's kind go a big hole in the water with places round the edge to tie your boat to????!!!!.....

I suspect it has the usual gas water and electric. I think there is a reasonable slipway, but beyond that I don't think there is much else. They pulled the pub down about 10 years ago... or maybe it just fell down in a breeze??? There is no clubhouse or such like... I don't even think there is a building on site. There is a caravan park next door, I think.
It is in the middle of nowhere, but good cruising grounds to Ely, Cambridge and the Old West to Erith and on to St Ives.

There is quite a lot of 'local politics' surrounding the site and it's owners....... but they appear to be managing a well run business.
