Posted - 12 Jan 2015 : 22:11:54 Hi all I'm a new lad to this forum I don't have a boat yet as I'm still saving-up for one. In the mean-time I'll just be looking and reading all your stuff and hoping to pick-up a few pointers, I'm not a new lad on the cut as I used to have a cruiser in my youth on the Sheffield canal,35years ago and I know I'm a bit of an oldie but I still have a huge interest in boats, Normans that is. thanks for reading my post!

Posted - 04 Feb 2015 : 22:30:53 Welcome matey. Get on and buy a boat. It's one of the worst financial decisions you will ever make but it will replenish your soul.
(btw, florian you usually need to go *through* the bridges rather than crossing them....) |

Posted - 04 Feb 2015 : 21:49:45 I am new to this today. have just purchased a 1980 Norman 23 that Curtis from Bridge Stores in St Olaves will be delivering to my dream mooring place, this Friday. For me, it's about the place - I intend to be out on the water on Saturday morning making tea and toast. I'll cross the bridges when I come to them and trust that Curtis will be as good as his word. Thankyou for creating this forum - Normans are such wonderful craft - I look forward to sharing ideas with those who feel the same. |
