I'm after a roadworthy braked trailer for a 23ft Norman. Struggling to find anything half decent on the usual sites.

I bought mine a couple of years ago for my Norman 23, they are hard to find and I paid £1250 for a decent second hand twin axle braked trailer. One or two on Gumtree but they are old adverts

regards

John

In that size they are rare on the second hand market, I've gone from a 20ft boat which i sold with the trailer to a 23ft boat. Did like you look for a while for something to trailer a 23ft boat and nothing around. You won't get a trailer for £400 unless it's a yard trailer. You will need really a double axle and must be braked trailer, also i went up from 1250 kgs total weight to way over 2000kg so would need to change vehicle as well so gave up and overwinter in a marina now.

Hi John, I've been looking all last week, couldn't see anything. May be i'm looking for the wrong type. What size/type trailer do I need to hold a 23? What should I be expecting to pay? Bloke down the local Marina told me I can pick one up for about £400. Having looked at prices of new ones, this I highly doubt.

Quite a few on the bay for a 23. Iam lookng for one for my boat but need 3500kg they seem to be like rocking horse poo at the moment, was offered one for £2500 back in august but I thought it was to expensive. Wish I'd brought it now.
