Here is a piccie of my winder, I think it's just a car jack handle/wheelbrace as it has a 3/4 hex on the end.
Consists of 12mm round bar with 6mm pin through one end 5mm is from end and 30mm long, after that length and crank is down to personal preference, mine is 400mm to a 150mm crank.
Hope that helps.

It's just a bar with a pin through it and a crank on the other end, wouldn't want to pay more than a tenner for one.

Why not make one? After all it is only a car starting handle that has been extended.

Probably boat jumbles or bob knowles plant(leicester), he is a bit hard to deal with at first but ok once you get talking, I think it's a northerner thing.....
