Posted - 05 Apr 2014 : 15:37:13 We have a new mooring at Upton Dyke on the Broads. Lydia, our Norman 20, is being transported 320 miles from West Wales and scheduled to arrive on 24th April. Arranged to be craned in by Eastwood Whelpton at the Staithe. Never had a boat on the Broads before (previously on Mon and Brecon canal). Lydia may have started out on the Broads in the 70s - and so could be 'coming home'? If anyone knows any history, we'd love to know. Anyone been to Upton - or even moored there? Any local info.? We have used the little camp site, at the Staithe, a few times - it does seem a very nice area. |

Upton Dyke is nice.... peaceful as you are off the main river, but with good access.
