Posted - 19 Mar 2014 : 14:19:58 Seems CraftInsure are trying to attract newcomers to the boating world especially those with "projects"!
They are now offering basic third party cover without the need of a survey from £65.
I'm still with CraftInsure and still find them the best priced for the cover given.

I know there are a good few on here with CraftInsure. If you are or are considering, please try and mention us! |

Posted - 22 Mar 2014 : 09:58:03 Same here been with them 4 years, never made a claim so hopefully all ok. Only thing which is a bit vague in the small print is whether i'm still covered when the boat is home over winter and during travelling home and back again in spring on the trailer. Will have to give them a ring to clarify.
One thing to be aware of which has narked a few on other forums is if an outboard is stolen they reduce any payout by 10% a year from new I think sealing at 30% so if your outboard is 7 years+ old you only get 30% of the cost of a new same size replacement. |
