Posted - 24 Dec 2013 : 15:49:01 With Xmas upon us I would like to share a personal experience with my fellow forumites about drinking and driving. As you may know some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time on the way home after a "social session" with friends. Well two days ago I was out for an evening with friends,at the bike Club, and had more than several beers followed by a couple of bottles of some rather nice red wine, although feeling jolly I still had the sense to know that I may be slightly over the limit, that's when I did something that I've never done before - I took a bus. Sure enough on the way home there was a police road block but since it was a bus they waved it past and I arrived home safely without incident, this was a real surprise, as I had never driven a bus before! I don't know where I got it and now that it's in my garage I don't know what to do with it. So if you want to borrow it give me a call.

Posted - 27 Dec 2013 : 01:32:17 I blame the bus companies, stupidly leaving them unattended all over the place. Deano had a simular occurance he reported on another site a few days ago . This post proves the old adege, "What is it with the busses? You wait for ages for a bus then two come along at once!" |

Posted - 24 Dec 2013 : 22:59:30 If its a red one it could be mine. I poped into the rivermill for a dozen Or so pints and when I came out it was from the weeping ash and someone had nicked me bus. I'm still a bit confused.
 Happy Christmas to you all!
