Hi i am after putting a wood burner in my Norman 23 but i am after a solution in which to stop my 3" inch flue for burning the fiber class when it gets hot it would be much appreciated if any one has any knowledge on how this got be be do.

Check out some narrowboat chaldlerys. They have a cast iron collar and insulate with "asbestos" rope.
