Posted - 08 Oct 2013 : 00:38:48 I think my 20 could do with a bit of weight shifting from aft to fore, can't help feeling that all the weight is at the back, it certainly seems to plane nicer when someone is sat in the cabin.
But the only thing of substance that I could relocate is the battery (It's rather large - 150 or 200 Ah, plus a smaller backup battery). Would it be a bad idea to move the batteries to the front of the boat inside the cabin? I think they can give off hydrogen under certain conditions, which might be a bit of a hazard? |

Posted - 13 Oct 2013 : 23:49:14 Thanks for posting those, that's very interesting. I was having thoughts about building a similar cabin extension/wheel house, and it certainly looks like it adds some valuable cabin space with proper headroom. |
