Make the most of Saturday, cos Sunday is a washout
Think I'll take a cruise to Owd Nells for lunch on Saturday.
Last week I had 2 plastic bags wrapped around the propeller,
Damned annoying !

Hospital state gastrointestinal most likely from bad bacteria but not Norovirus so hopefully can sort of enjoy last few days with a beer or six. Well i can wife has diet sheet of bland food and water or diet coke only for the next week.

Really sorry to read that news Knighty. Get that Freeman and next time cruise the Avon! Its much safer. (if you've cleaned the water tank). Alternatively next spring / summer borrow mine and cruise the Upper Thames for the weekend. Hows that for no fault compensation? K

Hi Billy
Got it on the River & Canal Trust Auction site

http://canalrivertrust.org.uk/boating/mooring

Put your post code in and search for up & coming Mooring availabilities. Register first and then when a suitable mooring comes up you simply bid for the mooring.
Mine cost me £420 per year for a 5 year term, however i can pull out as long as i am in for a minimum of 6 months.
The mooring fee remains the same for the period of the agreement.

I am happy with the location, it is gated and locked, plus it is residential so there is extra eyes keeping a lookout.
Works for me !
