Hi. Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere/someone that can make or supply some new cushions for our transom seat for our Norman 23. Ideally we want it doing in three/four cushions to allow ease of access to the tanks and storage underneath. Ideally vinyl covered.

Mark Atkinson.

When we did our 22 we made plywood bases, got the vinyl from a local fabric store, the foam from my mates old suite (you can buy it).

Cut the foam to shape, sit it on the ply and staple the vinyl to the back of the ply. It sounds cheap and nasty but with a bit of care you can get a really good result. The main thing is use a good quality staple gun and ply of sufficient thickness.

Hope this helps.

I had my covers made up from a woman who trades on eBay who was recommended to me. Trades under Sheila456golf. You will have to sort out your foam to size then send her accurate measurements.
On my 20 i had all cabin side and bow covers with extra material for the back rest bolsters in fabric and the cockpit side covers with three extra pieces done in grey vinyl with blue piping for 300 pounds and she made a great job.
Did a search and she is still around but you would have to send her a message about the vinyl. She sent me lots of samples to choose from.

Location and budget is everything......

If in Beds Cambs area A.C Coach trimming would be the best option. Don't be put off by the name, they mainly do boats. But it won't be cheap!!!
