Posted - 04 Aug 2013 : 14:31:28 Hi everyone been trying to save a norman 23 mk 1 that had a section 8..good news is all is safe now the canal & river trust people been really kind and helpful I just wont be taking the project further, got no car for transport, or space to put her or cash to complete. hope no one minds me advertising this wonderful site on ebay. but since the auction goes till the 7th and I mentioned norman boats appreciation I thought I better let you all know about the flying dustman! legend of a boat..!!ok many thanks heres the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251313181253?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 while i'm here want to say I saw a slightly sunken 23 just out of the preston brook tunnel, wasnt wrecked just slightly submerged... dearly wanted to do something but had my hands full..there was a full canopy, windows, norman insignia everything...just sorry its taken me ages to get in touch and tell you all about her..was still trying to save the flying dustman! from now on if I ever spot a norman in trouble i'll get straight in touch. Save Our Normans!! |
