When refitting my 32 I find that it was not made accurately. In fact the bow one side is different in shape to the other. If I measure the window openings one side they are different to the other. Has any one else found this when refitting their boat.

Don't do datum points, go for cardboard templates every time on an old boat, my RLM's no different.

yep. all over the boat. at times it was difficult to figure out what was the datum point to reference measurements to or from.
I came to the conclussion that much of the boat was moulded and fitted out by eye rather than having a measure used on it.
