Posted - 12 May 2013 : 19:52:43 If you wanted you could have it crained on a trailor at hesford marine about 2.5 hours by canal from where you are.
As Steve says by canal head towards Manchester and at waters meeting at stretford take a left towards Leigh

Posted - 12 May 2013 : 19:44:12 Hi
You need to got through Salford, then leigh, then wigan, down to burscough, then down rufford arm to Tarlton, then over to the ribble link. you need to book passage across link. should take you 3 days at a leisurely speed. I've done it a few times. check on canalplanner.org.uk. if you need any other advice, please Email me
