I need new steering cable for my N20 and have taken the following information from the existing one.
Part number 203170
Length 4.25mtr (14ft)
I think it is a old Teleflex number.
I am advised that the current Teleflex ref is SSC29014 for a direct replacement, however the cost is approx 90.00 plus nasty tax

As a alternative I thought I could try an Ultraflex equivalent, however I am not sure of the model ref..Could be a M66 ??
Has anybody got any ideas.

Also, I need to ensure the helm furrule matches my existing one but I can't seem to plant a photo on this website. My helm ferrule is not threaded, it is held in place with a bolt in the helm casing.

Any advise on the best cable to buy.

Thanks

Speedy cables make up all types of cables if you send your old one as a pattern Tel 01639 732213

We had a similar problem last year when some feiving little g*t cut through the steering cable when trying to nick the outboard.
It worked out at nearly the same price to by a complete helm kit off 'tinternet'. Not saying that's the best way in your case but may be worth a look.
