Hi All,
I removed my throttle control to fit new plywood behind, and then I noticed that I have a single wire and a socket both insulated together which are not connected to anything, I have had a look on the net but still not clear what they are, I have a Mariner 9.9 4 stroke.

Could they be a connection for a rev counter or a tilt and trim thingy bob ???.

Thanks
Les.

Just looked up my handbook for my two year old Mariner 9.9 the spare plug on my remote it says is for a tachometer or instrumentation hookup.
