Posted - 17 Apr 2013 : 00:18:05 After trying several I went for Craftinsure very efficent process over the net and they confirmed this site would get a referal fee. SAGA quote was hundreds more. Gjw direct was competative. |

Posted - 16 Apr 2013 : 07:41:38 I use gjw direct but found craftinsure better for the smaller norman without coastal usage, craftinsure jumped to over £500 when I changed to Leo. I've had claims with both and found both good to deal with.

Posted - 15 Apr 2013 : 23:31:45 You have a 23 Kevin so you should be OK with Craftinsure survey wise. Try them, if the online quote does not work then give them a ring. Thay are actually backed now by Navigators & General. |

Posted - 15 Apr 2013 : 23:16:37 Who provides the best mobile phone deal????? How long is a piece of string???? Many are with Craftinsure, but if they don't fit, then get quotes from Haven Knox Johnson /SAGA ? Navigators and General ect, a quick Google will give you a list, but negotiate for a marina discount.
If you don't fit Craftinsure's strategy, they are a branch of Haven Knox and only offer a one size fits all policy, then you are probably going to need a survey to get full insurance. You only need 3rd party to satisfy the navigation agency, there are many very cheap deals for 3rd party only with out surveys.
There is one to watch, they offer insurance without a survey, but are based in Spain (I think) and are not regulated by the UK insurance bodies nor do they operate under UK law. Confusingly they do have a UK address. Could be perfectly OK, but I'm not sure I would want to have to deal with Spanish law it it all went horribly wrong.
