I read in PBO a few months ago, about how a guy fitted a new foredeck hatch on a motor boat. (Lots of epoxy and chopped fibreglass strands to form a base).

Now I have an older N22 with no forehatch and as we all know the BSS examiners always comment that it would be better if...

So, I was wondering about fitting one on my Norman. Have any of you done this? Which brand would folks recommend? (Houdini, Lewmar, Bainbridge, Gebo etc)

Any thoughts welcome

I would fancy houdini had mines off to re-seal it it looked straight forward a hole cut to size with a jigsaw using a laminate blade
would think they would supply a template for the use of
