Posted - 10 Nov 2012 : 14:18:34 Does anyone have any good remedies for removing leaf stain. I painted my deck with anti-slip 3 months ago and the medium blue has bright yellow stains from damp leaves. The rough nature of the surface makes it difficult to apply anything vigourously. Thank, Chris |

Revive Power Paste -- http://www.revivepowerpaste.co.uk
Either eBay or Amazon.
Only very slightly abrasive, less than Jif / Cif, and so non-toxic, you can eat it!!!!
Essential boat cleaning product at a knock down price.
Oxalic acid will not work on leaf stains, trust me we have been there this year, but it is great on brown hull stains and rust stains.

Posted - 10 Nov 2012 : 18:10:34 Oxalic acid gets most bio stains off boats whether painted or still in gel coat.
Mix up strong in hot water and apply with brush or sponge BUT use those nice long black Tesco rubber gauntlet gloves on your hands.
Then simply rinse off.
Oxalic acid comes in crystals like salt - can be bought cheaply enough off e-bay.
Good for bleaching wood too so don't spill any on your woodwork.
