Posted - 30 Aug 2012 : 12:33:53 I just bought my 2nd Norman, an 18.5 called Mr Happy. It is so tempting to rush in, strip out all the stinky woodwork and start with a gutted cabin and cockpit. But I think that'll take ages!
So what do you all suggest? |

Posted - 03 Sep 2012 : 07:20:42 Do the bare minimum you need to make it watertight and cruiseable then get out there and enjoy the river/canal.
Oh, and just in case you were in any doubt, definitely get some beer in. |

Then worry about the rest later. At least you will have a far better list of priorities.
