Posted - 23 Aug 2012 : 19:15:20 Hello, Im new and never done this before! Just aquired Lydia,a Norman 20 on the Monmouth and Brecon canal. We have only been out twice and so still finding our way. The only real problem so far is the windscreen. It is difficult to see through it when the sun is shining. We have to lean out to navigate! Is there a way to renovate the perspex - T cut or polish?? Is the only answer to replace - and how? I'm now going to trawl this forum - I'm sure I will find it a great source and inspiration! |

Posted - 24 Aug 2012 : 13:35:31 we have a 23 so it has a curved windscreen and in the sun even when just dirty its a bitch but we found on ebay firms selling cleaner/polisher for the rear windows of convertible sports cars and it only cost a fiver a pot. this is a real life saver and works very well. |

Posted - 24 Aug 2012 : 11:50:48 Welcome to the forum. I acquired a large offcut of clear perspex for a fiver after using tinterweb to find a local plastics supplier. Using your old piece as a template, it is easily cut round with a hacksaw.
