Posted - 15 Jul 2012 : 13:39:43 Well the boat I've just bought has medium sized full height cupboard just inside on the left. I think this is where most (all?) boats had the toilet compartment originally? Either this one didn't have a toilet compartment or has been converted into a cupboard at some point. There is a portapotti at the front of the gangway.
I'm thinking I might convert the cupboard back into a toilet compartment though. Guess there's not really many options of where to put that on a 20? |

Posted - 15 Jul 2012 : 13:58:16 You are tied for space, on ours it is like you say opposite the sink basin so looks like yours has been changed at some point. Even though it is a toilet it relies on the toilet door and bulk head door to make it a sort of private cubicle, unless you are sitting at the helm and the sliding roof section is off
On the odd overnight trips many moons ago before the floods came!! we moved the portapotti to the rear of the cockpit overnight and put the canopy window covers on, more room and more private.
And saves the cabin off bad smells |
