Just watching all the pleasure boats go through the Thames Pageant - a bit like ours, makes you proud.

good it was watched it on the tv moored up at the entrance to the river thame, hammering down with rain

Thought it was fantastic, even saw the Gaiety which was an 1887 passenger day trip boat i worked on when i was a lad on the Avon at Evesham many moons ago,converted to a house boat now based at Henley-on-Thames i believe.
