Anyone aware of any reasonably cheap moorings in the Trent Lock area that are available.
I don`t want to go back to Redhill though.
Would prefer the Trent end of the erewash.

Saltnick

Unless you have a Norman 27 or 32 you could get moorings much cheaper downstream at Shardlow , Sawley , Redhill ect

There may be one at the sheetstores, i`m waiting for a phone call.
Depends if one is moved out.
Would be interested if the end of garden is available.

IIRC Nigel & Cath had a EOG mooring on the Erewash, although I believe this was a friend of thelrs, so may not be available after Nigel sold Scruffy Pup.

Wyvern / Barbers at Long Eaton may suit - They may or may not have room , Just up the Erewash from trent lock so ideal for you maybe (0115 946 1752)

I am currently paying £58 per month, as near as I can to that will be fine.
Sometimes there are the end of garden moorings that people put signs up for.
Really would prefer the Erewash around Trent Lock.
Sawley will have to do if nothing else is available.
Must say my mooring is mint now just too far away and a little isolated from the main network.
One year and i`m getting bored.

By Cheap what do you consider ?

I remember looking for moorings for a mate who was struggling with the costs at Sawley.

IIRC they were all similar , & not worth the few quid less for the hassle of looking after the ropes at flood time !!

Not sure on Long Eaton Marina prices or even if they have space - Might also be worth a look around the Shardlow area
