Some of you techno minded folk may know that NBAS and this forum are hosted by !and!. Some of you will also be aware that I'm NOT any sort of software or web design expert and used MS Frontpage as an easy way to set this site up. Now it seems that Frontpage uses some obscure "language" and, to a cerain extent, is obselete as a web designing facility.
I have never migrated to anything else despite occasional advice mainly due to my knowledge limitations.
Where's all this waffle leading I hear? Well, it seems !and1, bless their souls, are about to drop its support for the use of Frontpage extensions without which this lot will cease to exist. This migration of 1and1's takes place in about two weeks so I haven't got long to try and find some sort of solution.

Help!!!!

I built my website with yahoo site builder and it says you can import another website onto it. maybe that,s worth looking at. you just download site builder free then pay a monthly fee when its up and running. I think I pay about £9 per month

Yes, thanks very much Trevor. I agree that any cost should be spread between as many of us as possible. Don't be afraid to ask. I'll contribute, as I'm sure many others will.

Trev, back-up the site and make sure the back-up is on your PC rather than at the hosts.

Two weeks is a shockingly short notice period for such a big change!

Hi treork
Thanks for all the hard work. It would be a great pity to lose such a wealth of experience and expertise. I hope the society can be saved

I agree with kev13 and can say with all honesty that without this site and your help in the last year I would have been allot less advanced in the repair and improvement of both of my Normans and would miss my daily look to see whats happening in the boating world.
please keep up the good work Trevork as many people would miss you and this site otherwise
